ONE + ONE is a 14-day residency and exhibition project for international artists who want to explore Athens’ rich cultural life, traditions and opportunities, and present their work in a local art venue. Residency dates: 22 Sept – 5 Oct 2025 20 Oct – 2 Nov 2025 ONE + ONE provides shared or single accommodation and studio space in central Athens for two artists who wish to share ideas and experiences during their stay, and present their work or project to an international audience. Participating artists can choose between: * an individual artist presentation in SMCK Magazine’s online + print publication * the creation and submission of a video to the SMCK On Reel video festival * a special event or performance at the end of their residency in Athens. The ONE + ONE residency program also includes a customized introduction to the ancient and contemporary Greek culture (online introductory course + two guided visits at Unesco sites, museums and art venues), individual networking advice, tips on Athens’ secret addresses, as well as advice for the realization of the artist’s project.
