Musicians sought: Music for Berlin's districts (Layers of Berlin)

For the art project Layers of Berlin, we are looking for musicians, producers, DJs : "Layers of Berlin - Celebration of a City" shows the soul of Berlin in twelve mixed-media collages. With posters, flyers, and found objects from the individual districts, we capture what will soon disappear. These works are a snapshot of urban culture and a sign against the displacement of the art scene. Each district tells its story - an urban archive on canvas that celebrates the diversity of Berlin and reminds us of the importance of free art. We want to make the diversity of the city visible and audible. For this, 12 short video reels will be created, each representing a Berlin district. The reels will be published on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook and connect visual art with suitable musical accompaniment. Sought are musicians and producers who want to submit their own tracks, which reflect the character of a district. The selected pieces will be used in the reels – with full mention and link to the artists.
