Medellín launches ambitious plan for artistic intervention with urban graphic art in public space

With the aim of consolidating urban art as a tool for social transformation, identity, and memory, the Medellín District Administration announced the opening of two public calls for schools, festivals, curators, and graffiti and muralism artists. The initiative is led by the Agency for Landscape Management, Heritage, and Public-Private Partnerships (APP) and the Secretariat of Citizen Culture, with the support of the graffiti writers and cultural managers guild.
