LANDESHAUPTSTADT HANNOVER – KUNST AM BAU: PRINZENSTRAßE

The city of Hanover announces an open call for a non-competitive art competition with a pre-competitive application procedure as part of the climate-friendly redesign of Prinzenstraße. The goal is to create a artistic setting in the public space that strengthens the „Cultural Triangle“ between theater, artist house and opera and accompanies the transformation of Prinzenstraße into a blue-green cultural promenade. Up to eight artists or teams will be selected for the competition. Eligible to participate are professional artists and artist groups who can prove their professionalism through a completed degree in fine arts or a verifiable artistic practice in the public space. Applications can also be made in cooperation with other disciplines, with the lead role being taken by artists.
