International Residency in Visual Arts and Plastics 2025

This call aims to stimulate creation and research in artists and agents of visual arts and plastics, architects and designers, residents in Bogotá, by proposing a (1) disciplinary, interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary project in visual arts and plastics, to be developed IN SITU and related to the context of the Artistic Residence suggested by the Institute of Distrital Arts – Idartes or in a space proposed by the participant and located outside of Colombia. This strategy of promotion, is proposed as a mechanism to open spaces for reflection, construction of knowledge, encounter with peers, interrelations with the environment, dialogue and exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences. The residence will be developed for four to six weeks in the period between July and October 2025, in addition to this time, the resident must have 1 week to carry out the socialization of the results of the residence in Bogotá and 1 week for the presentation of the final report (documental, visual or audiovisual record of the residence process carried out). It is important to take into account that these dates may be modified according to the projects developed by the Arts and Plastics Management.
