Green Culture Festival 2025 - Open Call

On June 12 and 13, 2025, PACT Zollverein in Essen will become a meeting point for creative minds from culture, economy, science, and civil society. Artists, creatives, and thinkers are invited to submit their own formats and ideas for the Green Culture Festival by February 28, 2025. The Green Culture Festival 2025 takes a new approach: Instead of just minimizing the ecological footprint, it aims to increase the cultural footprint – and thus actively contribute to positive change. The goal is to explore together how sustainable concepts, collaborations, and innovative ideas can shape a desirable future. Innovative contributions are sought that will enrich the festival program – whether through performances, discussion formats, or interactive workshops. The contributions will be selected by an expert jury. For selected formats, there is a cost allowance including travel costs. Interested parties can submit their idea through the Open Call Form. The festival explicitly invites you to leave familiar paths and form new alliances and cooperations.
