Glasgow International | Festival of Contemporary Art
About This Opportunity
Glasgow International is a biennial festival with a history of celebrating the unique depth and long-standing vibrancy of Glasgow's contemporary arts scene. Since the first edition in 2005, Glasgow International has evolved and adapted to the changing needs of the community of artists and arts organisations in the city, while connecting artists and audiences internationally and nationally. Building on the 2024 edition of the festival, the development of Glasgow International and its presence in the city will continue to centre the ethos of collective endeavour. A core element of the festival programme are projects conceived and delivered by Glasgow-based arts organisations, artist-led initiatives, individual curators and artists. These projects are selected through an open call by an invited panel of international and local artists, curators and producers and the Glasgow International Programme team. A budget of £120,000 will be divided between a maximum of 20 selected projects. Along with a financial contribution, there will also be practical, marketing and press support for all projects.
