Farfield Mill Textile Competition 2025/26 – Metamorphosis

The theme for the Farfield Mill Textile Competition, set to be showcased in 2026, is “Metamorphosis,” which signifies a remarkable transformation in form or structure. We encourage participants to draw inspiration from various forms of change, including the physical transformation of living beings, personal life changes, significant ecological shifts over millennia, or the renewed purpose found in the restoration of an old mill. Notably, 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of Farfield Mill’s restoration and its emergence as a vibrant cultural venue.
