EDITAL Nº 008/2025 EXPOSIÇÕES NAS GALERIAS DA CASA DA CULTURA DIDE BRANDÃO

The Itajaí Cultural Foundation informs that the period for receiving proposals from Brazilian resident artists interested in composing the 2025/2026 exhibition calendar of the Mauro Caelum and Silvestre João de Souza Júnior Galleries, located at the Casa da Cultura Dide Brandão, is open. The selection integrates the institutional curatorial process, promoted based on the principles of impartiality, transparency and valorization of national artistic production, in accordance with Law No. 14,133/2021. Artists residing in the entire national territory may apply for exhibition space, within categories A or B, described below: Category A: exhibition proposals involving 1 (one) to 3 (three) artists; Category B: exhibition proposals involving 4 (four) or more artists. The selection aims to promote and expand, in public spaces dedicated to the promotion of art and culture, access to various manifestations and languages of the visual arts. Inscriptions of proposals for exhibitions already realized in the city of Itajaí in the last three years will not be accepted. Proposals for exhibitions containing content of any nature discriminatory or prejudicial will be barred. The time of each exhibition will extend to a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days, between mounting, exhibition and dismounting.
