CULTUREHUB — Residency Q & A

In this Zoom meeting, the CultureHub team will provide an overview of the program and application process and answer questions. CultureHub is currently accepting applications to the Residency Open Call now through May 12, 2025. The CultureHub Residency program will offer residencies to artists in the fall of 2025 and early winter 2026. Artists will receive at least one week of studio access with full technical support at CultureHub New York OR Los Angeles to target specific areas of their project’s development and share it with the CultureHub community. The residency does not have to culminate in a completed work. This year, we are accepting proposals in two tracks: ON LOOP (Interactive Installation track) and IRL/URL (Hybrid Performance track). The key difference between the tracks is how projects engage their audience. Projects can utilize technologies such as telepresence, virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, creative coding, live web, game design, etc. and can be at various stages of development.
