To benefit cultural heritage in all its forms, Law 21.045 provides resources for financing "total or partial projects, programs, activities, and measures of identification, registration, research, dissemination, valuation, protection, rescue, preservation, conservation, acquisition, and safeguarding of heritage, in its various modalities and manifestations, and of education in all areas of cultural heritage, material and intangible, including the manifestations of cultures and heritage of indigenous peoples". The management of this process is carried out through the Cultural Heritage Fund. In both cases, the process culminates after 30 working days administratively since the opening of the applications, in the case of the Regional Contest, and 50 working days administratively for the National Contest. The closing is considered at 23:59 hours on the last day of application. ### Tipo de Postulante: Personas Naturales y Jurídicas In this convocation, natural persons of Chilean nationality or foreigners with an identity card issued by the Civil Registry and Identification Service of Chile, who are over 18 years old, can apply; private law corporations established in Chile, with or without profit; indigenous communities and associations; municipalities; public universities; and organizations of Memory and Human Rights*. *This disposition varies according to the submodality to be posted. For more specification and details, see the bases of the Convocation 2025 of the Cultural Heritage Fund in the website www.sfgp.gob.cl. ### Tipo de Financiamiento: Entre $10.000.000 y $85.000.000 For this convocation, the Cultural Heritage Fund will finance projects in the following categories: * Intervention in protected buildings. Maximum amount to be financed per project: $35,000,000.- in design initiatives and $85,000,000.- in execution of works. * Intervention in unprotected buildings associated with movable cultural heritage, indigenous cultural heritage, or inherent to an element of intangible cultural heritage. Maximum amount to be financed per project: $35,000,000.- in design initiatives and $85,000,000.- in execution of works. * Acquisition of specialized technical and/or scientific equipment for the management, preservation, or safeguarding of cultural heritage. Maximum amount to be financed per project: $40,000,000.- Financiamiento This convocation will finance different types of expenses, according to the postulated submodality. The definition and conditions of the categories of expense are explained below: Expenses of remunerations and honorariums: are all the disbursements in exchange for a service compensation that is accredited through a salary liquidation or a honorarium receipt. Expenses of operation: are all those necessary expenses for the production and realization of the project. Direct expenses: correspond to the hiring of people, acquisition or rental of inputs or services that participate in the constructive process of the work, including the supply of equipment and construction tools and permanent equipment. Indirect expenses: correspond to the hiring of executive or administrative personnel, execution of activities or acquisition of goods that do not intervene directly in the constructive process, but are necessary to concretize the work. Indirect expenses cannot exceed 25% of the total budget of the work. Other expenses: correspond to unforeseen expenses for all projects and expenses of utilities and taxes (IVA or others) when the projects are executed by delegated administration. Líneas de financiamiento The convocation projects an estimated budget of $1,988,756,000 (one billion nine hundred eighty-eight million seven hundred fifty-six thousand pesos), of which 50% will be allocated to the National Contest and 50% to the Regional Contest. The Cultural Heritage Fund will provide financing for projects from $10,000,000 to $85,000,000, maximum amounts per project, according to the postulated submodality. Cofinanciamiento Additional cofinancing resources can be provided by the person responsible for the project and/or by third parties. It will be possible to include contributions in money or valued. Projects will not have the obligation to incorporate cofinancing, that is, it is optional to do so. In the case that the project is contemplated, the person responsible for the project must commit to it in writing, completing the annex attached to the bases, to be presented at the time of applying.
