About This Opportunity
The Ceramic Residency at the Mendocino Art Center is an 8-month residency designed for artists with an emphasis in ceramics. This program provides an opportunity for artists to deepen their practice while engaging in a supportive artist community. Artists in Residence will be housed on-site and have 24-hour secure access to their studio. AiRs are invited to exhibit their work in our Main Gallery for a month long exhibit during the month of April. Teaching opportunities and open studio dates may be available.
Restrictions
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the start of the residency period.

Ceramic facilities include: Bourry-box train kiln, Catenary arch wood-soda kiln, 2 electric kilns, 2 gas kilns, Slab roller, Extruder, 10 x 10 dedicated artist studio space, Large communal studio area
