BUNDESANSTALT FÜR IMMOBILIENAUFGABEN – KUNST AM BAU: MAX RUBNER-INSTITUT

The competition will be held as an anonymous, non-public, one-phase art competition for two locations in the new MRI Kiel building with up to eight artists or artist groups each. The participants for the art locations (Work Area A: Foyer and Entrance Area; Work Area B: Waiting and Communication Areas) will be selected through a pre-scheduled, worldwide open application procedure. Only professional visual artists are eligible to participate. Artist groups or working groups are considered as one application. For the realization of the art, a budget of up to 280,000 euros (gross) is available for each work area, including all costs for honorariums, material and production costs, including ancillary costs. Participation in the competition will be remunerated with 4,000 euros (gross) for the design preparation, provided that a work corresponding to the conditions of the announcement is submitted. In addition, a prize money of 6,000 euros (gross) per location will be awarded.
