Artists in Residence - British Council

The program aims to develop ideas, experiment new practices and create connections. We open public calls for the selection of artists from the United Kingdom and Brazilian organizations, from the areas of arts and culture such as museums, festivals, cultural centers, for example, as well as organizations that work with science and technology, interested in receiving an artistic residence from a British artist, with the following objectives: • Build relationships between artists, organizations and communities in the United Kingdom, Brazil and internationally; • Offer an experience that allows creators to develop their artistic practice, experiment with new ideas and ways of working; • Develop opportunities in international markets; • Allow artists and cultural organizations to work in a diverse way and strengthen practices through residencies.
