Artists in Residence

The Artists in Residence program is at the heart of creativity at Medalta. Artists from all over the world come to Medalta for lengths of time from one day to one year to make in a community that validates risk and nurtures creativity. We offer One-Month, FLEX (2+ months), and Year Long residencies. Our international program invites artists from all stages in their careers: emerging, mid-career, established, and interdisciplinary. At Medalta we encourage artists to utilize our studio space and facilities to explore new aspects of their practice, develop material research, and expand the field of contemporary ceramics.
