Art Jameel Forschungs- und Praxisplattform (RPP) 2026
About This Opportunity
Art Jameel and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority have launched the third edition of the Research and Practice Platform (RPP) 2026, a rapid-response grants programme supporting creative practitioners in Dubai and across the UAE affected by the recent geopolitical crisis. Building on previous editions from the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2023 climate change edition, this initiative provides timely, practical support to sustain the UAE creative community. The programme offers grants of AED 10,000 without prescriptive project requirements, allowing practitioners to direct support where most needed. Recipients join the RPP network, gaining access to mentorship, professional development, networking, and future programming at Jameel Arts Centre including Creative Careers Days. All applicants, selected or not, may participate in associated events. Open to UAE nationals and long-term residents aged 18+, based in the UAE, with valid Emirates ID and UAE bank account, actively engaged in creative or cultural practice. Eligible disciplines include visual arts, design, illustration, architecture, photography, film, writing, publishing, research, music, performance, curatorial practice, digital media, fashion, craft, and material practices. Individuals, collaborative practices, and small collectives at all career stages are welcome. No project proposal required. Applications accepted on a rolling basis from May 20, 2026, assessed by an independent jury. Submit in English or Arabic via online form.
