Animalia

Animalia: First recorded in 1800–05; from New Latin, Latin: plural of animal "living being, animal, beast," Animalia will showcase artwork featuring and inspired by animals. This includes creations ranging from an elephant trunk-shaped teapot spout to a quilt made with leopard-print fabric, a realistic painted portrait of your favorite pet, or a sculpture of a giant sloth. Any artwork with an animal focus will be considered, regardless of the medium—both 2-D and 3-D works are welcome. However, please note that artworks incorporating any part of the human form will not be accepted.
