AIR_Frankfurt: Kuala Lumpur

The AIR_Frankfurt program aims to promote contemporary visual arts and international exchange between the city of Frankfurt and emerging art centers worldwide. The goals of the cooperation between basis e.V. and Goethe Institute Malaysia together with Lostgens' are to initiate and support new approaches in producing, understanding, studying and valuing art; to encourage artistic exploration and cross-disciplinary creativity; to provide international arts professionals with opportunities to undertake creative work, conduct research and build networks; to present the creative work of international artists to audiences in Kuala Lumpur as well as Frankfurt and to foster international collaboration, exchange, and dialogue in the arts.
