Support for those affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake and the 2024 Noto Peninsula heavy rain disaster. The affected area is still facing difficulties in rebuilding their lives and restoring their cultural infrastructure, and long-term support is required. The foundation has implemented emergency assistance three times so far, taking into account the severe situation on the ground, and will continue to implement "emergency assistance" in fiscal year 2027. The foundation's usual cultural and artistic assistance is targeted at contemporary art, but this program expands the target to include traditional crafts, which are also important cultural infrastructure in the affected area and have suffered significant damage. We hope that those involved in contemporary art and traditional crafts will be able to make progress in recovery and reconstruction.
