2025 Call for Applications: Support for Internationalisation
About This Opportunity
LEVANTE is launching a new call for proposals, with the aim of continuing to build a truly inclusive and globally representative network. To support this, the selection panel will give special consideration to proposals that involve data collection or studies focused on underrepresented populations or regions—particularly in countries in the Global South. This aligns with the Jacobs Foundation’s broader commitment to expanding the geography of knowledge production. To this end, the Foundation will also offer active support to Global South researchers. This includes: * Targeted Information sessions: Researchers based in the Global South are invited to join two tailored webinars hosted by the Jacobs Foundation to discuss the application process, eligibility, and research goals: * July 29 at 11:00 AM GMT / 1:00 PM CET/ 4:30 PM IST- FULLY BOOKED, not accepting new registrations * August 7 at 9:00 AM GMT-5 / 2:00 PM GMT / 4:00 PM CET- FULLY BOOKED, not accepting new registrations * To attend any of the sessions listed above, you must be a Global South researcher (as defined below). Please register by emailing levante@jacobsfoundation.org with the subject line: “Registration for the Information Session – [insert one of the two dates]”. In the body of your email, briefly describe how you meet the criteria for being a Global South researcher. * Mentored Proposal Development: During the extended application stage (September 19 – November 19) , applicants from the Global South will be able to request early feedback on their proposals—ahead of the final submission—to mentors from LEVANTE who can share their tips for developing a successful application, helping to review working proposals to help facilitate their success.
