The competition is open to all artists, regardless of their experience or education level. The competition is open to all mediums, including but not limited to: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media. Eligible work may explore a broad range of water-related subjects, including: oceans, seas, and coastal landscapes; lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams; seashore scenes and coastal living; ocean or water-based activities; rain, icebergs, reflections, and weather-related water imagery; conceptual or abstract interpretations where water is a central visual element. Any artwork in which water is the primary theme or major compositional element is eligible for consideration.
