Foundation Press: Open Press

Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art invites artists to the Foundation Press: Open Press event on Thursday 13 August and Sunday 30 August 2026, from 10:30 to 13:30 in the Ground Floor Gallery. Participants can bring digital or physical artwork and have it printed on a risograph in up to two colours of their choice, using free paper and inks provided by Foundation Press. Technical support and advice are offered by Adam and Debbie of Foundation Press. Printed works are A3 size, prepared in grayscale (black‑and‑white media) but may be printed in colour; two‑layer artworks must be submitted as separate pages or PDFs. The first‑come‑first‑served drop‑in format means printing cannot be guaranteed for all. Under‑16s must be accompanied by an adult. Selected prints may be included in the ongoing exhibition "Starting Lines" (18 April – 30 August 2026). No booking or fee is required. This event provides studio‑like resources, mentorship, and exhibition exposure for participating artists.
