Woodward Hill Park: opportunità di arte pubblica

The City of Surrey invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from professional artists to create a free‑standing artwork or series of artworks for the new Woodward Hill Park. Woodward Hill Neighbourhood Park is a 4.7‑acre green space at 144 Street & 62 Avenue in South Newton, featuring a multi‑use sports court, playground, paths, and gathering areas. The park’s main entrance will include a plaza and accessible pathway weaving through terraced nodes that provide space for public art. Selected artists will receive an artist fee of $120,000 (CAD) and the artwork will be installed and displayed in the City of Surrey. The project timeline runs from Winter 2026 (design and fabrication) to Summer 2027 (installation). Applications are submitted via email with the subject line “Woodward Hill Park – (Your Name)”. The call is open to all professional artists and artist teams worldwide who can manage a project of this scale and coordinate with municipal staff and contractors.
