Write Over Here: Indigenous Futurism Residency 2027 is a screenwriting residency for Indigenous artists hosted by the Banff Centre in Calgary, Canada. The hybrid program runs from February 1 to February 26, 2027, combining an online preparatory week (February 1‑5) with on‑campus workshops, one‑on‑one consultations, studio time, and community‑engagement events. Participants work individually or with a collaborator (novelist, short‑story writer or playwright) to adapt a work for film or television, exploring themes of futurism.
