WEAVE 2027 – Appel à communications

WEAVE 2027 is a two‑day conference (21–22 April 2027) hosted on‑site at Hochschule Bremen with parallel fully online sessions. It brings together researchers, educators and doctoral candidates from the STARS EU Alliance and beyond to explore how Europe’s ecological, digital, social, cultural and institutional transformations can be woven into coherent, sustainable pathways. Submissions are accepted in the form of an 800–1,500‑word extended abstract (double‑blind reviewed) and may address any of the ten thematic interest groups, notably the Art and Creative Industries track. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference, included in peer‑reviewed proceedings, and may receive limited travel funding. Attendance is free, both on‑site and online. The call opened on 1 September 2026 and the deadline for extended abstracts is 30 November 2026.
