Venice Skyline Creative Residency is a self‑directed program hosted by Venezia Contemporanea, located in the heart of Venice’s historic Jewish Ghetto. The residency provides a fully furnished three‑room apartment on the 7th floor, equipped with Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, kitchen, washing machine and essential amenities, as well as a studio/exhibition space on the street level with a projector, hanging system, lights and basic art supplies. The program is open to artists, writers, researchers and designers across all disciplines, encouraging projects that engage with the city’s cultural heritage, Jewish history, and contemporary issues. Residents can tailor their stay from 2 to 4 weeks, with the possibility of extensions or split stays. The residency offers partial sponsorship (50 % of the weekly cost), a €70 cleaning fee, and an additional €20 per night for extra persons. There is no application or registration fee. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; applicants should email [email protected] with the residency they wish to apply for, a link to their work, and preferred dates. Selected applicants receive a short video call for selection. The residency supports housing, studio space, basic supplies, partial funding, and assistance with local services and promotion on social channels.

The studio apartment is on the 7th floor with no elevator therefore it is not suitable for individuals with mobility challenges.
