À Propos de Cette Opportunité

Creative Scotland’s Visual Artist and Craft Maker Awards (VACMA) is a partnership programme that offers small grants to visual artists and craft makers throughout Scotland. The 2026/27 cycle provides fixed bursaries of £500 and £1000, with two application windows: an Autumn deadline on 20 October 2026 and a Winter deadline on 2 February 2027. The grants are designed to support a wide range of activities, including mentoring, skills development, experimentation with sustainable materials, equipment purchase, and residencies that contribute to an artist’s professional growth. Applicants must be visual artists or craft makers based in Scotland; the programme is open to all disciplines within those fields. Applications are free to submit and can be completed online via the partner local authority or arts organisation websites. Creative Scotland also offers free information sessions on 30 September 2026 and 14 January 2027 to guide applicants through the process. The programme is funded by the National Lottery and administered locally by 24 partner authorities, ensuring a broad reach across the country. The VACMA grants provide an accessible and inclusive route to public funding, helping artists and makers to explore new ideas, develop skills, and advance their practice.
