Programme d'arts visuels « Transatlantic Stars » (avril – juin 2027)

The European Union Delegation to the United States is launching the Transatlantic Stars Visual Arts Program for the 2027 cohort. The call is open until October 30, 2026, and will select up to 300 mid‑career or established visual artists from EU Member States. Applicants must be EU citizens, have no criminal background, and be available to travel to the U.S. between April and early June 2027. The program pairs each European artist with a U.S. collaborator and places them in one of six residency sites across the country, ranging from a Gulf of Alaska fishing community to a Louisiana studio. Over eight weeks, participants will create a physical work for exhibition in Washington, D.C., and receive monthly virtual gatherings, on‑site lodging, studio space, equipment, a materials budget, a living stipend, airfare, and visa assistance. The selection process involves eligibility screening, jury evaluation, and interviews, with results announced in December. The program is designed for artists working in 2D, 3D, 4D, or multi‑disciplinary visual media that produce a physical output.
