Programme de tournées de musique contemporaine

The Contemporary Music Touring Program (CMTP) is a grant administered by Creative Australia that supports national touring activity undertaken by Australian musicians performing original Australian contemporary music. Applicants may be individuals, groups or organisations (including managers, agents and music networks) and can request between $5,000 and $50,000 depending on the regional reach of their tour. The tour must include performances at a minimum of three venues or locations outside the performer’s hometown, with priority given to regional and remote destinations. Funding can cover artist and creative‑worker fees, manager/agent fees, travel, accommodation, per diems, ground transport, freight, childcare, accessibility costs and other legitimate touring expenses. Applications close on 13 October 2026 (3 pm AEDT); the next round opens in March 2027. Successful applicants will be assessed by a peer panel on artistic merit, cultural impact and budget viability. The program also requires compliance with First Nations cultural protocols and child‑safe frameworks. No application fee is required.
