Résidence d'artistes « Swatch Art Peace Hotel »

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel Artist Residency invites artists from all disciplines and nationalities to experience a unique cultural environment in Shanghai. Applicants can apply online; the residency runs on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline. The program offers a 3‑ to 6‑month stay in furnished apartments and workshops on the second and third floors of the hotel. Swatch Group covers a round‑trip flight or train ticket, visa assistance, and a daily breakfast. Artists receive housekeeping, kitchen facilities, a lounge, a library, laundry, high‑speed internet, and access to a Mac, PC, and printer. The residency does not provide a stipend; artists must cover personal expenses. The program encourages creative exchange and requires participants to leave an artistic trace upon completion. Applications are reviewed by an international committee, and selected artists are notified to arrange their stay.
