The National Arts Council (NAC) has announced the 2026 Multicultural Arts Programme (MAP) Grant, a S$20 million funding initiative seeded by the President’s Challenge and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. The grant is divided into two categories:

• Productions – up to S$500,000 for artists and organisations to create, produce and present Singapore‑made works inspired by the country’s multicultural traditions and identity. Projects may run for up to 24 months.

• Ecosystem Development – up to S$300,000 for initiatives that strengthen the broader multicultural arts ecosystem, such as fellowships, residencies, research, festivals, regional collaboration platforms, youth mentorship and incubation labs. Projects may run for up to 18 months.

Applications open on 15 July 2026 and close on 15 September 2026, with notification by 30 December 2026. Applicants will be assessed on artistic merit, public engagement, impact, track record and capacity. The grant is open to Singapore‑based artists and organisations seeking to deepen engagement with multicultural themes or to collaborate across cultural traditions.
