Studio 11
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
Studio 11, a multidisciplinary art studio founded by photographers Nafkot Gebeyehu and Zion Yaynu, runs a self‑funded residency program in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The residency is open to early and mid‑career visual artists who can commit to a minimum of one month of work. Residents receive full studio access, a monthly allowance for materials, assistance with exhibitions and events, and help with visa and accommodation arrangements. In exchange, artists must provide five hours a week of service to Studio 11, collaborating with the community and participating in exhibitions. The program is self‑funded, so applicants are responsible for flights, visas, local travel, meals, and their own accommodation. The residency is open on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline, and the application process is free.
