Subvention à la production

The Production Grant, administered by Pro Helvetia – the Swiss Arts Council – supports cross‑regional established visual artists, photographers and architects who have a professional connection to Switzerland. Applicants must hold Swiss citizenship or permanent residency and demonstrate a solid exhibition record beyond their own language region. The grant provides a maximum financial contribution of CHF 25,000 to cover the creation of new visual‑arts projects. Applications are evaluated by a jury based on artistic originality, feasibility, relevance for the applicant’s development, and a strong professional track record. Submissions require a project description, implementation plan, budget, a portfolio covering the last three years (max 20 pages), and a CV. The deadline for submission is 1 September 2026, 23:59 CEST, with applications accepted from 1 July. Only one application per person/collective is allowed per calendar year, and artists currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme are excluded. The grant does not include housing or travel support; it is a cash award only. Successful applicants will be notified within four months and may start the project from 1 January 2027. This call is part of Pro Helvetia’s annual funding programme and recurs each year.
