Appel à candidatures de septembre : « Voices »
34 Gallery
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The 34 Gallery’s September Open Call “Voices” seeks artistic responses to mental‑health challenges, including schizophrenia, auditory conditions, mutism, PTSD, trauma recovery and imposter syndrome. Artists may submit up to three works in any medium—fine art, poetry, audiovisual, short film or AI‑generated artwork—by August 28th, 2026. Submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter with artist details, a brief description of the creative process, and a statement on how art has helped the creator find their authentic voice. Accepted works will be showcased on the 34 Gallery’s virtual exhibition platform, accompanied by interviews (Interludes) and promoted through the gallery’s social‑media channels, providing exposure and career‑development opportunities. The call is open worldwide, with no entry fee, but disqualifies works that are sexually graphic, promote violence, discrimination or hatred. File formats accepted are MP4, JPG, PNG (max 100 MB) for visual and audiovisual pieces, and Word, Google Docs or PDF for poetry. The initiative aligns with the UN Agenda 2030 SDG 3.4, aiming to raise awareness of mental‑health issues through art therapy. Selected artists will be notified by September 10th, 2026.
