Programmes de résidence du Centre d'art Rozynski
Rozynski Art Centre
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The Rozynski Art Centre (CAR) in Way's Mills, Eastern Townships, Quebec, runs an artist‑in‑residence program dedicated to ceramic practice. Two pathways are available: 1) Self‑financed residencies, open year‑round on a rolling basis, where artists submit a CV, portfolio and project description at any time and receive a private workspace, technical support, and access to a fully equipped ceramics studio. Costs for the stay are billed to the artist (residence $550/week, private room $450/week, membership $40, plus materials). 2) Subsidized residencies, awarded through periodic calls (the last deadline was 14 September 2026, next call expected summer 2027) and include a monthly per‑diem, travel expenses, material budget and a fee for an end‑of‑residency presentation. All residencies emphasize active studio presence, a commitment to ceramics, and engagement with the Centre’s community. The Centre promotes equity, diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from historically under‑represented groups. Artists benefit from private workspaces, a range of kilns (electric, raku, test), glazing facilities, and expert technical assistance from a ceramics technician, as well as community meals and exchanges.
