Rotterdam Photo 2026 - Appel ouvert Echoes of Silence (Échos du silence)

Rotterdam Photo 2027, held from 17–21 March during Rotterdam Art Week, is an international photography festival that invites artists to participate through a global open call. The festival’s theme, Vibrance – The Pulse of a Living World, encourages photographers to explore energy, movement, and community in both documentary and experimental practices. The call offers three categories: Projects – International, Single Image – International, and Dutch Talent Project Grant. Projects and Single Image submissions are judged by a professional panel and selected artists receive dedicated exhibition space, public installation opportunities, and extensive networking and press exposure. The Dutch Talent Project Grant provides a €3,000 production grant, curatorial guidance, and a dedicated exhibition space for emerging photographers based in or trained in the Netherlands. All categories are free to apply, and the deadline for submissions is October 4, 2026. The festival promotes artistic innovation and social cohesion, positioning Rotterdam as a dynamic hub for contemporary photography.
