Résidences artistiques de Visual Arts Scotland

Visual Arts Scotland, in partnership with Cove Park, offers two paid two‑week residency spaces for artists, makers and creative practitioners. The residency runs from 27 October 2026 to 8 November 2026 at Cove Park, a 50‑acre rural site on the shore of Loch Long in Argyll & Bute, Scotland. Each resident receives a self‑contained accommodation pod (one pod fully accessible for artists with disabilities), a private studio, and access to communal facilities including a kitchen, library and dining area. Staff are on‑site to provide support. The programme includes a £1,200 artist fee per resident, up to £250 travel stipend, and fully covered studio and accommodation costs. Applicants must be Visual Arts Scotland members (membership £40 per year) and submit a brief statement about their practice, how the residency would impact their work, a focus plan, and documentation approach, together with a PDF portfolio and at least six images of work from the past five years. One residency slot is reserved for artists/makers living with disabilities; the second is open to all artists and makers. Applications close on 28 August 2026.
