Rondo Residency, founded in 2024 in Mexico City, is an international artist residency program that partners with local galleries and art fairs to foster artistic growth and cultural exchange. The program offers two modalities: Live‑Work, where artists stay on site and receive a stipend of $2,000 USD, and Only‑Work, where artists work on site but arrange their own accommodation and receive a stipend of $1,300 USD. Residents gain access to six private studios (9 m² each) and a shared communal space (120 m²), as well as a private room with shared bathroom and amenities. The residency is structured around four axes—Production, Theoretical, Art Market, and Public Relations—providing a comprehensive environment for creative development. The Spring 2027 call is open to artists worldwide, with no application fee. Applicants must submit a Google‑Forms application by September 30 2026. The residency spans 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the chosen semester, and includes letters to assist in securing external funding.
