Résidence d'artistes « Open Studios » 2026-2027

The Open Studios Artist Residency, now in its 2026–2027 edition, seeks innovative artists with exciting project ideas to join a shared studio programme at The Arts Village, Rotorua's community arts hub. The residency runs over December 2026 and January 2027, offering artists dedicated time, shared studio space, materials, and the opportunity to engage with the local community. Applications are open to emerging and established artists working in any medium, with no specific age, nationality, or residency restrictions. Selected artists will receive studio access, material support, and mentorship within a collaborative environment. The call is free to apply, and the application deadline is 9 October 2026. Applications are submitted via an online Google Form linked below. The Arts Village has hosted this residency since 2011, supporting over 60 artists to date.
