Résidence d'artiste à Venise
Scuola Internazionale di Grafica di Venezia
À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, founded in 1969 in the Cannaregio district of Venice, runs an annual Venice Artist Residency that welcomes professional and practising artists from around the world. The residency is structured in both independent and guided formats, allowing participants to work on projects ranging from printmaking and artist’s books to installations. Guided residencies are tailored to individual projects and include tuition from master printer Roberta Feoli, while independent residencies offer full studio access. Artists benefit from a fully equipped print studio, a range of presses (intaglio, woodcut, letterpress), and a supportive community that hosts workshops, critiques, seminars, and exhibitions. The program is open to established and emerging artists, and ERASMUS+ participants may apply for up to three participants. The application deadline is 31 October 2026, with the residency scheduled for September 1–30 2027. The program does not provide housing; artists must arrange accommodation themselves. The residency fee varies by duration, with a 1‑week guided residency costing €1,250 and a 1‑week independent residency €625. Applicants pay a €20 application fee. The residency offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Venice’s artistic heritage while developing new work in a professional, well‑equipped environment.
