R.A.R.O. Barcelona announces its Autumn 2026 Residency Open Call, taking place at Casa R.A.R.O. in the heart of Barcelona. The program welcomes artists of any nationality, career stage, and a broad range of disciplines—including visual arts, interdisciplinary, textile & fiber, ceramics, installation, mixed media, and performance. Residents can choose one of three periods: August 31 – September 25, October 5 – October 30, or November 2 – November 27, each lasting between three weeks and two months. While accommodation is not provided, the organization assists artists in finding affordable, artist‑friendly housing. The residency fee starts at €750 for a four‑week stay (six weeks €1,000; eight weeks €1,400, VAT excluded). Included are a private or shared studio of over 300 m², curatorial guidance, access to Barcelona’s cultural scene, visibility through R.A.R.O.’s Instagram and website, ongoing support from the R.A.R.O. team, and a final Open Studio presentation open to the public. Optional photographic and video documentation is also offered. Applications are submitted via an online Google Form, with a deadline of 15 September 2026. The call is part of an annual series, making it a recurring opportunity.
