The Performing Arts Criticism Project 2026 invites artists, writers, and critics to engage with experimental performing arts by watching the performance "Daily record of River kondaba" and submitting a written review. Selected reviews will receive one‑on‑one guidance from theater researcher Itsuki Umeyama, be translated into English, and be published on the Kyoto Experiment website and the Shihai Web platform. The project aims to foster critical dialogue around experimental theatre and provide participants with professional mentorship and publication opportunities.
