The Collective Futures Fund is a grant initiative administered by Tufts University Art Galleries that supports visual artists and artist‑run activity in the Greater Boston area. Tufts University is hiring a Program Coordinator to provide advanced support and coordination for this program. The limited‑term, grant‑funded position runs through July 31, 2027 (with possible extension) and is a hybrid, 35‑hour‑per‑week full‑time role based in Boston, MA. Responsibilities include producing documents, reports and proposals; responding to inquiries from applicants, past grantees and partners; managing files, databases and application forms; coordinating marketing, social‑media and website updates; organizing meetings, juries, events and travel logistics; monitoring budgets and processing financial transactions; and supervising student and temporary staff. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree and 1‑3 years of related office experience; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent organizational and customer‑service skills are also required. Preferred candidates have knowledge or experience in the visual‑arts sector. Salary is $27.85‑$38.50 per hour (based on experience) with standard Tufts benefits. The role reports to the Tufts University Art Galleries staff and works closely with the Collective Futures Fund program director.
