Studios d'artistes Waverley

Waverley Artist Studios, run by Waverley Council, provides a fully subsidised studio space for a twelve‑month period in Bondi, Sydney, to emerging, mid‑career and professional visual artists who wish to work within the Bondi and greater Eastern suburbs area. The residency includes paid professional development opportunities such as workshops, artist talks, public art projects and live art events. Successful applicants must participate in a compulsory open‑studio event in the second‑last month of their residency to showcase their work to curators, funding bodies and the community. Applications close on Sunday 11 October 2026 for the residency period of March 2027 to February 2028. The application is free and is submitted via the council’s ‘Have Your Say’ portal. No housing is provided, but the studio space is fully subsidised for the duration of the residency.
