Appel à candidatures : Biennale de Dakar 2026

The sixteenth Dak’Art opens in Dakar on 19 November 2026 and runs to 19 December. Its theme is (Anti)fragilité : arts de la réparation et stratégies du contrecoup — (Anti)Fragility: Arts of Repair and Counter‑Shock Strategies — and its artistic director is Morad Montazami. If you are an artist, a collective, a gallery or an institution intending to stage something around it, the date that matters is closer than the opening. Registration for the OFF closes on 13 September 2026. The OFF is the route that remains open, and it does not require selection by the Biennale — only registration. The OFF registration runs from 27 July to 13 September 2026 and invites participation in autonomous artistic events organized around the Biennale. The call is open to artists, collectives, galleries, and institutions. No selection or application fee is required; registration is free. The OFF events take place in Dakar, Senegal, and offer artists an opportunity to showcase work in a supportive, community‑driven environment.
