Appel à candidatures 2027 : programme de résidence d’artistes « Creative Spark »
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The Creative Spark Artist-in-Residence Programme is an annual open call that supports both emerging and established artists in developing their practice through residencies that provide access to specialist facilities and engagement with the local creative community. The 2027 edition offers three distinct residency categories: County Louth Artist Residency for artists living in or strongly connected to County Louth; National Artist Residency for artists based elsewhere on the island of Ireland; and International Artist Residency for artists based outside Ireland. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate how their work engages with local audiences, place, heritage, or contemporary issues relevant to the region. The residency provides shared studio space with water supply, access to a Fine Art Print Studio, Darkroom, FabLab, Textile Lab, and Kiln Room, as well as technical support where appropriate. Artists will also have opportunities for public engagement, including artist talks, workshops or demonstrations, and the chance to exhibit work locally. Accommodation is not provided. The selection panel will assess applications based on the quality of the artist’s work, the feasibility of the proposed residency project, and the potential impact on the artist’s practice and professional development. Applications are accepted online via a Monday.com form, with the deadline set for 17 October 2026.
