À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The Collie Art Prize (CAP) is a nationally recognised biennial art award administered by the Collie Art Gallery in Collie, Western Australia. Open to all Australian visual artists, the competition invites submissions that explore the overarching theme of “Identity”. The 2027 edition (CAP27) follows a schedule where entries open on 5 October 2026 and close on 11 December 2026 at 5 pm WST. After the submission period, a panel of independent jurors will review the works, with finalists notified by late December and the exhibition opening on 20 February 2027. The major acquisitive prize awards $50,000 to the winning artist, and additional prizes include Rotary Prize I & II ($5,000 each), People’s Choice ($1,500), and the Pollie Packers’ Prize ($1,000). Winners receive not only monetary awards but also the acquisition of their work by the gallery, a solo exhibition, and significant public exposure. No entry fee is required. The prize supports a broad range of media, encouraging diverse artistic practices. For full details, applicants should consult the CAP27 Terms & Conditions PDF linked below.
