NYC4PA DÉGRADATION CORROSION ROUILLE

The New York Center for Photographic Art (NYC4PA) invites photographers worldwide to submit images exploring the theme Decay, Corrosion, Rust. All photographic processes are welcome (print, image transfer, emulsion transfer, encaustic, black‑and‑white, etc.). The call is open to both amateur and professional photographers, but only 2‑D work is eligible and images that have won an NYC4PA prize in the past two years are excluded. Submissions are judged blind by a jury led by Darren Ching (Co‑Owner of the Klompching Gallery). The competition runs from July 19 2026 to the deadline on August 16 2026 (midnight Pacific Time). Ten cash‑prize winners will be selected (Grand Prize $1,100; three First Prizes $400 each; three Second Prizes $325 each; three Third Prizes $250 each) along with 20 Juror Selections and 20 Honorable Mentions. Winners are featured in the NYC4PA online gallery, a printed catalog, and receive an award certificate. An entry fee of $40 covers the first three images; additional images cost $10 each. Applications are submitted via the online entry system.
