Résidence MODEM AIR – Appel à candidatures du Fonds Visegrad, automne 2026

The MODEM AIR Residency, supported by the International Visegrad Fund, offers visual and mixed‑media artists from the Visegrad countries (Czechia, Poland, Slovakia) the chance to develop new work in Debrecen’s Great Forest area. The residency lasts two months (dates flexible) and provides a spacious studio, dedicated curatorial support, and opportunities for public engagement such as open studios, talks, workshops and exhibitions at the MODEM Project Space. Residents receive a tailor‑made programme that connects them with local experts and institutions. Applications are submitted via a Google Form and must include a letter of interest or project proposal. The deadline for applications is 7 October 2026, with notifications on 9 October 2026. Selected artists must also apply to the International Visegrad Fund by 15 October 2026. The residency does not cover accommodation or travel costs, and the building is not fully accessible, so applicants with specific needs are encouraged to indicate them in the application.
