À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The Goethe‑Institut’s Mobility Stipend – Exchange between Sub‑Saharan Africa and Europe – is a funding programme that supports artists and cultural professionals from both regions to undertake research trips, collaborative projects, residencies at cultural institutions, participation in festivals and cultural events, and professional development opportunities. The call is open to all artistic disciplines and does not impose an age restriction. Applicants must be residents of either a European country or a Sub‑Saharan African country. The programme offers financial support that covers travel costs (up to €400 within Africa and €1,800 from Europe), accommodation, daily allowances, and project expenses. Applications are reviewed on a monthly rolling basis, with a fixed submission deadline of 15 June 2027. The stipend is intended to enable artists to engage in cross‑cultural exchanges and to foster collaboration between the two regions. The Goethe‑Institut provides the funding and administrative support, while the host institutions in Africa or Europe facilitate the project implementation.

Eligibility: Artists and cultural professionals residing in Europe or Sub‑Saharan Africa, all disciplines, no age restriction. Application: Submit a proposal outlining the project, budget, and expected outcomes. No application fee is required. The stipend covers travel, accommodation, daily allowances, and project costs. The programme is not a residency but a financial grant to support mobility and collaboration.
